Charity Number SC 032860 Chairman's Report 2024 Aims and Ob'ects of Sons of Thunder: It has been pointed out by OSCR that the original governing document of Sons of Thunder hadn't been reviewed since inception, 25th January 20021 OSCR in its analysis of our most recent annual report suggested we update and revise our Governing Document. particularly io make it more relevant to what we do! In 2024 we received some very generous donations which enabled the charity to send another £3,5Ji to the HIVIAIDS Orphan Care Project in Ekwendeni, Malawi. Again, we were unable to hold another fundraising'Kovwirana' concert during 2024 but fortunateli i'j2 have maintained a significant level of support to Ekwendeni. Without this generous support Sons of Thunder could not assist many of the F)oor, disadvantaged 2-..c under-privileged in Northern Malowi. one of the poorest nations in the world. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10{11 {dl of the 200c Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 4411) Icl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have co"..I to my attention. Basis of independent examinerfs statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the chari-.ii and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
