Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of education','the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

To have a place where our members can meet and discuss and enjoy each others company, some of our elderly members use this facility as their primary souce of companionship. Our engineering facilities are used by our members and the members build and service steam, electric and diesel motor locomotives as well as build small gauge layouts for exhibition display. These will incorporate layouts based on historical sites and require considerable skill to construct and use. We have some members that are highly skilled electronic engineers and will assist other members with the construction of such layouts or locomotives etc.

Objectives: To advance the education of the general public in Scotland in model engineering and related skills and activities.
