The Object of the Boys’ Brigade is the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness. The purpose of the Boys’ Brigade is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The method of achieving the aim of the Brigade is by providing an enjoyable and attractive programme of progressive training, based on the Boys’ Brigade objective and badge structures and guided by adult leadership.
