The Outdoor Partnership have been working across Ayrshire offering outdoor adventure opportunities and experiences to a range of targeted groups. We have delivered - Training courses, Come and Try activities, outdoor activity development programmes in Climbing, SUP Paddling, sailing, and walking. We have worked with 3rd sectors charities, local colleges, local council departments, schools and uniform groups and Duke of Edinburgh`s Award groups.

Objectives: “4 To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Ayrshire (here in after called 'the area of benefit' without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, nationality, age, disability, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and training and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, sports and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. 5 To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined. 5.1 The advancement of outdoor adventure activities and Education through supporting training which leads to a qualified and experienced work-force capable of leading and supporting outdoor adventure. This should include skills development and employment opportunities for a young workforce.”
