Name and Address The Group's name is the 31 Pentland (Juniper Green) Scout Group and it may be contacted at 45 Lanark Road West, Cume, EH14 5JX sl Constitution and Purpose The Scout Group is constituted in terms of the Rules of the Scout Association, which is charitable body incorporated by Royal Charter. The Group Is a registered Scottish Chafity No. SC 031424. The purpose of the Scout Association is 10 promote the development of young people I achieving their full physical, Intellectual. social and spiritual potentials, as Individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and intemational communitiès. The rnethod of achieving the aim of the Assoaation is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training. based on the Scout Promise and Law and gui(led by adult leadership Trustees Trustees are recruited and appointed In accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Ftyles 'POR' of the Scout Association. Activities and Achievements The Group continues to grow In number and currently has two Squirrel Dreys, two Beavtr Colonies, two Cub Packs and two Scout Troops. This year the Group celebrated 100 years of Scouting wrth a well- attended socki event held in the Scout hall. Past and present members of the Group were pre8ent and an exhibition was staged of the Group's many activrties held over the years The annual Jumble Sale was well supported as usual and was a financial sUc￿s.

Reserves The Trustees believe that around 12 months of annual expendrture is an appropriate level of reserves to cover the timing differences between re￿iptS and payments and to allow for any unexpected rtems of exFenditure on the Scout Hall. The Trustees anticipate that the reserves will increase over the next few years as a result of planned fundraising activities, which will allow us to provide for maintenance or eventual repla￿ment of the hall.
