PATH was set up to address the issue of under-representation of black/minority ethnic communities in Housing and related sectors across Scotland via Positive Action training programmes. Trainees are placed with RSLs and LAs to gain on the job experience, whilst attaining a housing qualification. We provide support to the trainees and placement organisations throighout the 3-year traineeship. We also provide employability support and leadership courses.

Objectives: 3.1 To advance education for the benefit of the public by developing the professional and technical skills in housing and other services of persons aged over 16 who may suffer disadvantage by reason of their colour, race, nationality or ethnic origins. 3.2 The promotion of equality and diversity. This includes the elimination of discrimination
