The company was set up initially to establish a local community centre and to maintain it for use by every member of the community, irrespective of political, religious or other opinions. We aim to advance education and provide a space for recreation, in the interests of social welfare.
Objectives: The objects of the Company are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants, including visitors and tourists, of Laurencekirk and its environs, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Council, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation, in the interests bf social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the afore-mentioned inhabitants, visitors and tourist
