EGMS is set up to encourage young people to develop their musical abilities through the provision of individual and group music making lessons, including tuition of voice and music theory. We also aim to assist the social development of young people through their experiences in music making and to encourage participation in performances and formal music qualifications.
Objectives: The objects of the school shall be to advance the education of young people mainly living in the East End of Glasgow in the art of music
