The charity provides facilities , and a lunch club on tuesday's and saturday's for members of the community. All are welcome. The charity encourages members to use the garden facilities and get involved in growing and harvesting food, which is incorporated into the lunch club menu. Other events that the community can get involved in include: Qui Gong, Kumon classes, tango and flamenco dancing. The charity is currently running a recycling workshop program for younger people who can come and learn how to recycle and raise awareness. A local Indian dance class is also present, and continues to look for new members. Various cultural events occur during the year which are open to all members of the community
Objectives: (a) Promote the benefit of the inhabitants and primarily the ethnic minority inhabitants of Dundee and the surrounding area~ without distinction of sex or sexual orientation or race or of political or religious or other opinions by associating together the said inhabitants and the Local Authorities, voluntary and other Organisations in a common effort to: (i) Advance the education of the said inhabitants (ii) Provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the said inhabitants in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life (b) Establish or secure the establishment of a community centre at 2 Russell Place, Dundee, DD3 7RU, or such other location as may be decided from time to time and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local or other person or body) in furtherance of the above object (c) Promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined
