Objectives: The objects of the organisation shall be to advance the education of the public in the art of Shetland fiddle Music, including the various styles of the Islands and particularly the old traditional music and its relationship to Scandinavian music and in furtherance thereof: 1 to organise or assist in organising the tutoring of capable musicians in the skills and techniques of playing Shetland fiddle music. 2 to promote or assist in the provision of concerts, recitals and other productions for the benefit enjoyment and education of the public, and in particular to present or stimulate or assist in the presentation or stimulation for the benefit of the public of all forms ofmusic, such that the productions encourage the playing of Shetland fiddle music. 3 to promote or assist in the provision of concerts, records and other productions outwith Shetland with a view to providing a focus for the appreciation of the playing of Shetland fIddle music outwith Shetland. 4 to present protect restore, improve, enhance and
