Objectives: The objects of B.A.R.R.K shall be to relieve the suffering of abandoned, unwanted, neglected and abused dogs & puppies and to educate the public in the skills associated with good management and responsible dog ownership. and in furtherance of the above objects but not further or otherwise the Association shall have the following powers:- 2.1 To raise funds and to invite and receive contributions, provided that in raising funds, the association shall not undertake any permanent trading activities, and shall conform to any relevant requirements of the law. 2.2 Endeavouring to ensure that no animal known to B.A.R.R.K. to require re-homing will be destroyed, unless recommended by B.A.R.R.K.'s Veterinary Advisor. 2.3 Maintaining an ongoing policy of public awareness of responsible dog ownership by encouraging active participation within B.A.R.R.K 2.3 Doing all such other things as are related and conducive to the attainment of the stated objective.
