Fife Forum is committed to improving the quality of life of people in Fife, and recognises it is of utmost importance that people can make informed and appropriate choices about how they live and are supported. We seek to facilitate this and support people to influence, shape and access information, resources and services which strengthen resilience and independence wherever practicable. We aim to support people to connect and remain connected to their community and/or peer network with a view to reducing isolation, loneliness and building resilience. By doing this we support people to reduce and/or delay the need for high end service interventions. Delivery is in 3 primary service areas: Local Area Co-Ordination for Adults & Older People (community-led advice/support, information, signposting & guidance). Action Groups (including Forums) for Older People. and, issue-based Professional Advocacy for people within care and hospital settings.

Beneficiaries: 'Older People','Other defined groups'
