Ediston seeks to transform the bullding into 8 mixed-u5e developrnent featuring a Scottlsh food market and a 70-bedroom apartment hotel and has secured two anchor tenants. The propos815 incorporate a nesy roof pavilion, cotnpkmentlng the hlstorfc faEade, providing additional hotel rooms and amenlty spatt. The building includes Thomson-de51gned railings for the Saracen Foundry and has some Thornsone5que features, although the bulldlno does not appear to have been designed by him.
