CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT As usual the choir restarted rehearsals at the beginning of Sertember after the summer break. Reryuitment of new members to the choir wa8 qurte Successful arKI ts total number of members in thoir increa8ed to 78, up by 6 previou8 year. The season of 2Q24-25 vm the third year folbkniffj the ￿riod of the Covid pandemic in which the operat￿n of the choir coukl be cOr￿ldered to be completely rKxmal in tem18 of the attendance of retar8a18 and perfomiirvJ of ￿￿cert8. The autumn concert was wrfomi•d on 24th November 2024 at St Margaret'8 Church In Newlands, Glasgow. The wogramme of music w88 comprised of'Ma9nfficat' by J S Bach and excerpts from 'Tho Chri8tma8 Oratorio,. al80 by Bach. Th eoncert was well attended and generat￿ conc•rt receipts of £1728. Feedback from the audience wa8 enthu81a8tlc and very p08itive. The Spring concert was perf0m￿d on 30th March 2025 at St Margaret'8 Church in Newland8, Gla8gw. The choir has an excellent mu8ical dlrector In TIM Rhodts, excellent piano acmnpanist in Jane Wlliam80n, strong and 8¢tive commlttee and an enthu8la8tic momber8hlp. Recrultment of new members 18 looking encouraging for the gyning year and finances are in good shape.
