Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

To promote and encourage community theatre in the Stonehaven area. We do this by working together with our members to prepare and perform plays, etc to be put on for the benefit of local people. From January to April we give our members the opportunity to enter and perform in the SCDA One Act Play Festival. Between May and June we give our members the opportunity to perform in a Summer Production, usually performed over two evenings to an audience. In July/August we advertise publicly for new members to join the club and for them to join us in August for the launch of our annual pantomime. After weekly rehearsals from August to December our members perform 5 performances of our pantomime to an audience in the first week of December. During the year we also try to organise Workshops and social events for our members. We also encourage our members to further their talents by providing bursaries for courses in any aspect of the performing arts that they wish to enrol in.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'
