We are an amateur brass band, welcoming anyone who wishes to come along and make music (rehearsals twice a week), offering teaching free of charge for anyone wishing to learn or progress in playing an instrument. We play for our local community at gala days, armistice service, local church christmas concerts, a drop-in carol service at the band hall, providing warm food/ tea/coffee and cake to everyone who comes along for a listen or sing song.. We compete in contests against other brass bands. and give back to our community through donations to sponsor a young player at the local junior football club, make a donation to the local bowling club

Objectives: The aims and objects of the Band shall be: (i) to promote the practice and performance of music. on a communal and amateur basis (ii), to educate members of the Band in music and musical techniques, and (iii) to provide a community service by the public performance of music.
