(i) The promotion of companies whose activities are directed towards the- provision of paid employment to poor residents of the Operating Area or towards relief from need among poor residents of the Operating Area, the acquisition and holding of shares, stocks, debentures and other interest in companies whose activities are so directed and the provision of managerial, supervisory and consultancy services to or in respect of .such companies
