The purpose of Girlguiding is to empower girls through fun, friendship, challenge, and adventure, helping them to find their voice and make a positive difference in their communities. Empowerment and Support Girlguiding aims to create a supportive environment where girls can be themselves without the pressures of societal expectations. It provides a space for girls to engage in activities that promote self-discovery, confidence, and leadership skills. The organization focuses on listening to girls' needs and adapting its programs accordingly, ensuring that every girl feels included and valued. Activities and Opportunities Participants in Girlguiding, which includes various age groups from 4 to 18 years old, engage in a wide range of activities that encourage personal growth and teamwork. These activities can include adventurous pursuits like climbing and canoeing, as well as community service projects and skill-building challenges.

Objectives: The Aim of the Girlguiding Ayrshire South is to help girls and young women to develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world according to the principles of the Association, and to facilitate Guiding for girls and young' women in Ayrshire South.
