Imaginate is the national organisation in Scotland, which develops, celebrates, and presents theatre and dance for children and young people. We do this through: • Producing Edinburgh International Children’s Festival every year, presenting high quality Scottish and International shows to over 18,000 children. • Offering a year-round Creative Development Programme to support Scotland-based artists creating new work for children. • Embedding transformative theatre experiences into schools and community settings through our Creative Engagement Programme.

Objectives: The object of the Company is to advance the education of children, primarily in Scotland, concerning the performing arts by acting as an advocate and promoter for the provision of high quality performing arts and as a consequence enable children to have a clearer understanding of the performing arts, their social environment and that of other cultures.
