St John's Episcopal Church, Johnstone is a registered Scottish Charty ISC0154351. 2. It is a member of the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway of the Scottish Episcopal Church and i8 in lull ommunion with the AngI￿an Church. 3. The superior aulhorty is the Bishop of Glasgow an(1 Galloway. 4. All of its affairs are govorneil by the Vestry. This was after paying for a new organ which cost £2.850, Our cash surplus is reasorÈably healthy and stands at £26,226. Our tolal funds remain at £49,996. Energy costs are particularty hyh this year, however, fdlowing recent meter readings, it woukl appear we are in credit. Plans for future perfods The Vestry will continue its range of pre8enl a¢tivilie$ in the foreseeoble fulure. Rosorvgs The Vestry has adopted a poli￿ of trying lo maintain a level of unrestrided reserves such that, in the event of a signrficanl drop in income, the church would be able to maintain ils current level of actNi(ies for a reasonable pefiod until replacement funding is obtained. Stipend £26,544 No other expenses or remuneration wer8 paid lo trustees Propety Expenses G88 and electric meter readings have now been completed and we are in credit. Every effort is being made lo obtain a refund. Significant repairs were undertaken on the roof due to the weather. Continued restoration costs included completion of the roof and the stain glass windows. Miscellaneous income :.Social Commrttee CongregalKJnal expenses includes refund ol expenses as well as £300 for the Verger. Having h8d a Curate for the year as well our Congregational expenses have been greatly increased to the Iravelling costs of the Curate for the year.
