Ross and Cromarty CAB has been running for over 40 years serving the people of our local community. We provide free, impartial, independent and confidential information and advice to anyone who needs it. We are a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux which is more commonly known as Citizens Advice Scotland, although we are a fully independent and autonomous bureau – meaning that we can concentrate on providing the services needed by those living here.

Objectives: 4 The company has been formed to benefit principally the area of Ross and Cromarty (the “Area of Benefit”) with the following objects:1 4.1 the advancement of education. 4.2 the prevention or relief of poverty. 4.3 the relief of those in need. 4.4 the advancement of health. 4.5 the advancement of citizenship or community development. 4.6 the promotion of equality and diversity. and 4.7 the advancement of civil and human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation, particularly through (but not limited to) the following activities: 4.8 the provision of advice and assistance to individuals with a view to improve their understanding of their legal rights and responsibilities, facilitate access and use of the benefit system, and alleviate stress and other anxiety caused by unresolved issues. and 4.9 recruiting, training and developing local citizens who are engaged as volunteers in and for the Bureau, who in turn assist members of the public within the Area of Benefit, and in doing so contribute to the development of the Area of Benefit.
