The Badminton Club continues to meet on Monday evenings at 7.30. and was able to make a donation to the Church during the year. Boys BrEade- 2 Campsle.. we continue to meet every Frlday evenlnB wlih the bciys iaklng part In proBrdmme activitres and games. They have shown a al Interest in Science experiments recently and have been enjoylng exploring these. At Chr55tmas we celebrated by VISIn8 Pro Bowl wlth all of the boys. Church Web: The site continues with Informatlon of OT8antsations and forthcomlng evet$ aTrJ all acttvrties. Creche: we contlnue to provlde a creche durfn8 the latter half of our worshlp on a Sunday mornlng for bables and toddlers not yÈt old enOh to attend Jigsaw. There are èround 20 volunteers who are all PVG scheme members on a rota, with 2 on duty each week. cross0r and EPIC- Youth Group,. Thi5 last year ha5 seen an Introduction of a senlor youth 8woup Bible study whlch is being driven by our young people. Dinner Club: with restriuions chan8iry the dinner dub h8s resumed meetln8 continues to ralse funds through regulardinners. We continue to sponsor a chlld Ana who Ilves In Ecuador. through thè charlty Compas510n. Eco: we purchased and planted 3 apple te$ in the thurch grounds iThJarnuary, A 8roup met together In September for 81ble study whlch we wrote the content owsefves. In October we had a ra8 bag collection Fellowship: we have had a very 5ucce55ful year in 2024. Holding a Series of interesting tslks which have been well attended. We also enjoyed a Chrlstmas dlnner wlth an excellent speaker who brou8ht us ¥p to date on the Eric Liddell ICKJ celebrdtions. Our now annual event, the Scotlish NiBht. at Hayston Gold Club attracted 44 members from the church congregation. Good food and excellent entertalnment were enjoyed by all. Funeral Teas: thi5 ha5 been paused due to earfier covid restrrthons and has not been offered throughout 20Z4. The Gulld: we have enjoyed a varied pro8ramme of excellent s eakers, 2 successful fundraislng concerts. visits to and from the Fellowship and Campsie Guild started the se$5ion on the new theme "Let us Build a House". Our conrt entertainrnent was by the splendld groups of KSlsyth HarrnoFry and The Anderson Singers, rdisin8 money for our new national project Playful BeginninEs. Pdge 4

An embroidery plece was finlshed and framed and glfted back lo the fdmlly. We have also had many donallons of wool whlch ha5 allowed to cortlnue to mak£ baby cardigans, hats and blankets donated to h05Pita15. After an appeal from the pulpit we alx assisted with maklng sheep for the chr1m85 perlod. House Groups: no meetings In 2024 due to the Implementailon of the new TEAMS groups. Jigsaw: continues to be well attended. We have lots of kids who enjoy Spending time in church untll we move throu8h bakIng up Into our dlfferent groups. Lots of fvn, games and occasionally cake, hadl We continue to collect brown pennles for a number of charities Justice & Peate Group: we have had a falrly qulet year. We continue to support the shoebox appeal via Samaritan's Purse, and we wrote cards forAmnesty Intemalional again. Outreach; GoMAD'24 was entitled OOMPALARITY. With the help of Willle Wonka, we shared Je5US' parable5 With children, young people and adults. The Holiday Club 8vera8ed 55 chlldlen per day. Reformed in tradition and PresbyterSan In pollty. It exists to glorfy God and to work lor the advancement of Christ'5 Kingdom throughout the world. A5 a national Church, it acknowledges a distinctive call and duty to bring the ordinanees ol reli8ion to the people in every parish of Scotland through o territorial ministry. It Co-operates with oiher Churche5 in various ecumenical bodies In Scotland and beyond. The objectives and activithes of our congregation are based on the Flve Marks of Mission and are facllitated through the work of our recenttyformed Teams.. Teach, Tell, Tend. Trdnsform and Treasure. Sunday Worshlp continues to be 'llve streamed. and posted on Facebook and Youtube wlth people from all over the world joining our services. An illustrated bible versels posted each day on Facebook. Members of the congregation still contribute to the services thrc)ugh the Praise Band and by leadin8 prayers and readings. Special service5 such as during Holy Week, Pentec05t Praise and When Christmas Hurt5 were held. We have strong links with the local parish of Campsle (Lennoxtownl as we move slowly towards a Union with that congregation. We also have developed links with the local Roman Catholic Churches. Our youth work continues with Crèche and Jigsaw (for children from 3-10 years) and Xover & EPIC (for the teenagers) held on a Sunday during the latter part of Worship after they have been involved in Family fime. All the groups and the congregation reflect on the same bible readin85 at theor own level. Our work with children also extends into the community. We have a very POPLJlar Baby & lod(Iler group, a thriving 88 company. 2 well-attended SU groups IP5 & P6171in the local school. SU tamp (led by our minSsterl was attended by many k)cal children. GOMAD, our outreach fortnight. induded a community quiz, hymn singing events. a fund-raising concert, games afternoons and regular evenin8 worship. The Kids, Club held each mornlng wa5 well-attended with over 100 children registering over the 10 days and the teenage group was a150 well attended. We also ran several GOMAD Xtra events over the course of the year. Our Tell and Teach Teams link with our adult groups such as The Guild and The FellOhlp. Thev nurtured our faith through House Groups, Taking It Further, which met each month to discuss further the topics of the previous month's reflections, and the weekly Prayer Group (Time to Pray) which is relaxed group with people encouraged to come and 80 as they feel able. Once a month folk from the congregation visit our local care homes and lead informal acts of worshlp. In the sprlng we were part of the global initiative Thy Kingdom Come Labyrinth We gathered at the village cross just before Christmas to sing Christma5 Carols. Our Teach Team held film nights, Santa read stories around the Christmas Tree, in person and online. They provided bible study notes and supported other church groups. Other churth/community groups such as Hobbles Group and Badminton meet regu13dy In the Church Centre. Our Tend Team cater5 for those In the congregation ol all ages who need extra support. Thev support our Baby & Toddlers Group, Café Connect. afternoon Communlons and those who are unwell or bereaved. Church flowers are delivered to show the churth's care. Page ?

The regular ChuTch offerings have de(aSed marginalty this year from £69,933 in 2023 to £69,596 in 2024. This is a decrease of £337 almost 0.48%. Our total income for 2024 was £108,281 detreasing from £122,672 in 2023. This dlfference can be accounted for in the feduction ol other donatign5 received. We ate eKtremely gtsiefyl that our congregation are continuin8 to support with the current eflects of the cost-of-llvg ciisks. We continue to be prudent Duf expenditure, however a total of £112,539 for 2024 was spent whlch Is a decrease from 2023 of £129.723. Thus. reduting the spenil by £17,184 Irom the previous year. Our church centre continues to be a hub fgr other actwities withln the community, to which we receive donations. These dDnatiofis continue to rise with more areas of our centre bein8 used ftjr many different Uses. Reserves Pollcy Otsf unStrIcted funds of £43.387 are made up of the balances in ourGeneral Fund of £16,386. our Genetsl Reselve of £17,270 as well as various church group funds detailed in note 2 of the actounts. n)e Geheral Fund balance represenls around 2 rnonths costs based Oh current expenditure, and we would expect this to be reviewed agaln prlorto the end of 2025 to ensure these reserves are sufficient going forward. The Generèl AesÈfve is held in the Church of Scotland Investors Trust Deposit Fund and is tetained should they be required forany wexperted cost for a repair to one of our pl0pees. The church also held E7,082 of restrirted fd$ along with an endowmeni fund of e5,901 whlch has been provided for the puiposes specified in note 2 of the accounts. The loans that were provided In 2019 to assist with the purchase of the manse have been paid in 2024.
