Auchnagatt Hall in an essential space to our community. Since losing the shop a number of years ago the hall is now the only place within our area where people of all ages have the opportunity to meet up socially and maintain local connections. The hall is maintained/run by Auchnagatt village hall management committee. The committee is comprised of a number of local people who give up their time to ensure the hall is maintained and enhanced to the best of our ability in order to benefit the wider community of Auchnagatt and its surrounding area. Since getting the roof repaired we are concentrating on the interier of the hall to make it a more appealing space

Objectives: (a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants Auchnagatt without distinct1on or sex or of political, religious or other opinions by associating the local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these anti other such objects as may be by law deemed to be charitable. (b) To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a Village Hall for activities promoted by the Committee in furtherance of the above objects, or any of them. The Committee shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
