ALVO was a CVS or Council for Voluntary Service which did not agree to merger with the new TSI or Third Sector Interface arrangement for unitary councils - and from that period has been on a downward spiral trajectory to the point that it has requested from OSCR the dissolution of the charity - this is ongoing.
Objectives: To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of rural South Lanarkshire and in particular the advancement of education, the furtherance of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness
