The Thrift Shop receive donations of clothing and goods from the general public which are sold to provide the financial means to support the charity giving. The shop is staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers. The income raised in the thrift shop provides for local charitable appeals from the community of Beith & district and on occasion, appeals from national charities.
Objectives: To promote the welfare of individuals, families, groups, and charities within Beith and District including the following: - To assist in the prevention or relief of poverty. To assist in the advancement of education, health, and the saving of lives. To assist in the advancement of citizenship and community development. To assist in the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture, and public participation in sport for all age groups. To assist in the provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of such activities. Shall provide assistance whether it be financial or otherwise to national and other charities. Shall assist and co-operate with others seeking the same ends.
