The Charity is set up to meet its charitable purpose as detailed above. It does this by generating income and capital growth from its investments, being as cost efficient as possible with the running of the charity and donating as much as it can (whilst being financially responsible and prudent) to charities.

Objectives: The Trustees shall apply the Trust Fund and the income thereof or any part of such income for such charitable purposes (in the sense in which that expression is used in the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1970) as they in their uncontrolled discretion shall from time to time think fit including, without prejudice to the foregoing generality and without restricting the Trustees in any way in the exercise of their d1acretiocary powers, but by way of a guide to the Trustees, the relief of poverty, the preservation of wildlife, the preservation and renewal of buildings and other items of national or historic interest, the advancement of health and education, the assistance of disabled people, the advancement or the Greek Orthodox Religion, and other Religions and the encouragement of the Fine Arts.
