Trust Income is to be used to provide the following to persons resident in or near St Andrews:-1. Financial assistance towards sickness and convalescence expenses. 2. Financial assistance to elderly persons in special circumstances of need either individually or through Old Peoples Welfare Associations including making payments towards the cost of domestic or home nursing assistance. 3. Contributions towards the funds of nursing, medical and casualty organisations carrying on work in St Andrews and district, and 4. Financial assistance for young persons in special circumstances of need

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','Older People'

Objectives: The income from the Capital of the Trust Funds shall be used at the discretion of the Trustees:- (a) To provide financial assistance towards the expenses incurred during sickness and convalescence in so far as the expenses are outwith the provisions of the National Health Service, to persons normally resident in or near St. Andrews who are unable to meet such expenses. (b) To provide financial assistance to elderly persons normally resident in or near St. Andrews in special circumstances of need either individually or through Old Peoples Welfare Associations carrying on work in or near St. Andrews including making payment of or towards the cost of domestic or home nursing assistance required by such elderly persons: provided that such assistance shall be in supplement of and not in substitution for funds provided by national or local authorities. (c) To make contributions towards the funds of Nursing Medical or Casualty Organisations carrying on work in St. Andrews and District: provided that such assistance shall be in supplement of and not in substitution for funds provided by national of local authorities. (d) To provide financial assistance for young persons normally resident in or near St. Andrews who are in special circumstances of need: provided that such assistance shall be in supplement of and not in substitution for funds provided by national or local authorities.
