Forgan Arts Centre is a community based charitable organisation, situated in rural North East Fife, which focusses on art, craft, gardening and well-being. The charity is socially minded and works with partner organisations to achieve outcomes for local communities, through identifying their needs and providing services, facilities and support. Forgan Arts Centre works to enrich and improve the lives of local people through considered and person centered experiences.
Objectives: 4 The Organisation is a non-profit distributing charity whose aim is to advance the health and wellbeing of the residents of the Tay Bridgehead Council Ward and surrounding area (which together constitute the ' local community') by promoting the following: 1) The advancement of education 2) The advancement of arts, heritage, culture and science 3) The advancement of citizenship or community development 5 And in furtherance of the above, the Organisation will 1) provide or improve, or assist in providing or improving, facilities and activities for the study and practice of arts and crafts and 2) foster community participation and engagement through the provision or improvement of such facilities and activities.
