Structure & Governance In terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts {Scotland) Regulations 2006, the Vestry reports to the congregation as follows.. 1. St Kentigem's Episcopal Church {SC0078941. Ballater 18 a reglstered Scottish Charity 2. It is a member of the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney of the Scottish Episcopal Church and 18 in full communion with the Anglican Church. 3. The Superior authority 18 the 8ishop of Aberdeen and Orkney. 4. All of fts affairs are govemed by the Vestry. Appolntment ol V8Stry Member8 Vestry members are elected or appointed by Annual General Meeting established by constitution and under Canon Law of the Scottish Episcopal Church. There is no fomial induction programme bLrt ongoing guidance is giv8n to ènsure that Vestry members are familiar with the Church's values, aims and resFK)n3ibilities as the designated trustees of charity. The Church's members of the vesty consider that the audit requirement of R•3ulallon 10{1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply It Is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (C) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attentlon.
