Objectives: 3.1.1 To own, maintain, manage and promote Auchtertool Village Hall as a village hall and community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Auchtertool and its surrounding area, the boundaries of which are shown in red on the attached plan ('the Community'). 3.1.2 To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Community, and the general public too, by: (a) giving guidance to organisations and community groups who are either based in or some of whose work takes place in or involves the Community. (b) advising co-ordinating organisations and community groups, local authorities and the inhabitants of the Community in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation of the Community. (c) encouraging and enabling provision to help and educate young people through their leisure time activities to develop their spiritual, mental and physical capacities to enable them to grow to full maturity as responsible citizens and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved. and (d) fostering a community spirit and enabling community development.
