To provide day care for the socially isolated and often housebound elderly in our community. We provide transport, meals, activities, advice and advocacy. We work alongside health and social work colleagues to ensure individual needs are identified and supported. When a person is attending for day care we in turn provide respite for those caring for them. Those who attend do so between one and three days a week depending on their needs. We fully integrate those living with dementia.
Objectives: To provide aid, assistance and support for elderly persons residing within Penicuik, Midlothian where such provision is in the interests of social welfare and is made with the object of improving the conditions of life of elderly persons within the area of benefit.
