Objectives: The purpose of the Council shall be charitable, namely to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Edinvillie and district without distinction of sex, race, age or of political, religious or other opinions thereby fostering a community spirit for the achievement of the following objects: To bring together in association the inhabitants and local authorities in a common effort to enhance social and general wellbeing of said inhabitants. To provide a meeting place and other facilities for the purpose of social welfare, leisure and recreation for the benefit of the said inhabitants and. To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a Community Centre (hereinafter called Edinvillie Hall) for activities promoted by the Council and its constituent bodies. A constituent body is any organisation that deems Edinvillie Hall to be its focal point.
