The charity’s key aims are to: - Address issues of disadvantage, poverty, and inequality. - Improve access to health improvement opportunities. - Use community development approaches to enhance life chances in the local area. Our current business plan prioritises: - Supporting the general community to identify needs and shape local activity. - Reconnecting socially isolated individuals with their community through inclusive activity. - Empowering volunteers to improve their lives and communities. - Supporting individuals with poor mental or physical health to improve their wellbeing. - Helping families overcome disadvantage and influence decisions affecting their lives. Where aligned with our objectives, we are informed by both local and national policy.

Objectives: (a) The relief of poverty among residents living within the boundaries Partick and Thornwood, G11 postcode area ('the Operating Area') (b) To promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupations of the residents of the Operating Area in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life. (c) To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area, particularly among young people and the unemployed. (d) To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the Operating Area in obtaining paid employment. (e) To promote, establish and operate other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community within the Operating Area.
