Newstead Village Hall Committee is set up to maintain the building internally and externally so that the village of Newstead have a community building to be used for the benefit of all residents of this village and nearby. It is available to everyone without discrimination.

Objectives: The said subjects and the buildings erected or to be erected or extended thereon (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trust subjects') are dedicated and shall be held by The Trustees and their successors as Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Newstead and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for education, meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
