Hayfield consists of three different types support services - Care Homes Enhanced Housing and Care at Home Day Opportunities. All services are all registered with the Care Inspectorate. Hayfield Support Services currently offer THREE specialised SMALL care homes, an enhanced care at home / housing support service, a day support service (building based and community resources) including a 24/7 response service by staff who use BSL and know people well. Hayfield remains a nationwide service and take referrals throughout the United Kingdom, however, 97.5% of current service users are from Scotland.

Objectives: To provide rehabilitation/ habilitation services with hearing impaired people who had additional difficulties, with the purpose of improving the quality of their lives and encouraging the development of abilities to function independently. to provide residential and day care facilities for hearing impaired people. to provide all types of educational opportunities including social skills training and work discipline routines. to provide a caring environment which will nurture the emotional growth of hearing impaired people. to carry out research as appropriate to the development of skills and methods which will assist the above. to carry out research into the possible causes of psychological, social, emotional, behavioural or other additional difficulties of hearing impaired people and to influence the improvement of whatever facilities may be considered necessary to reduce the incidence of such difficulties. to carry out research into the present policy and administration throughout the U.K. regarding the caring for, and administration of, services for hearing impaired people. to attempt to influence policy within the U.K. which is relevant. to raise funds and make charges for providing services including the employment of staff, the lease or purchase of buildings and equipment and the purchase of materials to liaise with, and support, any organisation or individual which may assist the above. to develop, provide and administer whatever services are considered advantageous to the short or long term care and/or habilitation/ rehabilitation of hearing impaired persons.
