It exists to run and support community facilities and activities for the benefit of people in and around Stenton, including the village hall and wider community events.

Objectives: 4.1 To promote the well being of the Community resident in Stenton Parish and immediate vicinity of Stenton Village (hereinafter called “the neighbourhood”) without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and Residents in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide a meeting place and facilities for physical and mental training and recreation, and social moral and intellectual development, and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other objects as may by law be deemed to be charitable. 4.2 To be responsible for the maintenance and management of the village Hall as a Community Centre for activities promoted by the Association and it’s constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects or any of them.
