Tyninghame Village Hall & Community is a registered charity set up to maintain and develop the Village Hall as a safe, welcoming and sustainable space at the heart of our community. We provide facilities for social, educational, cultural and recreational activities that bring people together and strengthen village life. The Hall hosts regular classes, weddings, celebrations, and community events, and is also used for training and meetings. We raise funds through bookings, donations, grants and local fundraising events, and reinvest these to maintain and improve the Hall for current and future generations. Alongside this, we work with local partners on village wide improvements such as green spaces, footpaths, traffic and sustainability projects, ensuring the Hall remains not only a building but a focal point for community connection, wellbeing and resilience.
Objectives: 1.1 The advancement of citizenship or community development through the provision of a venue for the local community and others to come together and participate in various activities and events. 1.2 The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science by offering a space for local groups to exhibit their crafts. 1.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by providing a range of classes and groups.
