Chairpersons report Thanks to all for attending the 2024 AGM for Drummullan Communty Group which covers the year to 31 March 2024 A synopsis of the activities of the group during the period under review is listed below Toddler Group This has been the main focus of DCG during the period under review. Launched in March 2023, we have been running a highly successful weekly Baby & Toddler Group in our local Parish Hall. The Baby & Toddler group is attended by up to 35140 babies and pre-school ehildren weekly who have access to a range of learning and play resources, kindly donated by our community. Over the last 16 months, our Baby & Toddler Group has continued to grow. with an average number of 80 babies, toddlers, parents, grandparents and carers attending. This two-hour weekly event has provided a safe space within our community for children to come together to socialize, play and have fun. We are invested in facilitating the development of every child's emotional well-being, physical health, leaming and social development. Through seff-directed and organized play, our weekly group helps children build creativity and confiden￿, develop communication and cognitive skills, improve coordination and balance. develop problem-solving skills and build relationships. Feedback from parents and carers attending our Baby & Toddler Group is highly positive, Gonfirming the positive effect of interaction with peers of the same a9e has had on their child's development and wellbeing. The open accessldrop-in structure helps combat isolation, allowing parentslcarers and children to come together to build friendships with othets in similar situations. Halloween Camp During the school Halloween break the group ran, in conjunction with Activity Nl, a very successful two day Halloween Camp. This was attended by over 30 children on each of the days. The week was rounded off with our ever popular Halloween disco. The group did not apply for any grant funding during the period under review. In conclusion I'd like to thank all our committee, our volunteers, and the local community for their continued support. Treasurers report This report deals solely with the financial transactions undertaken to 31 March 2024 Opening bank balance as at 1 April 2023 was £567.37. Incorne derived during the period under review came from the following sources Toddler Group £1,044.55 Halloween Camp £500 Halloween Disco £214 Private donations £130 The Group did not apply for any grant funding during this year. Expenditure undertaken was minimal, bank fees, CWSAN annual memberships, annual insurance, hall rental charges and a spend of £33 on mats for our toddler group The closing balan￿ in the financial period was £1,791.89 In conclusion I will now pass a copy of the Income and Expenditure report for this financial period around and ask for a proposer and seconder that this statement accurately reflects the financial period 1 April 2023 - 31 March 2024 Carol Devlin, Treasurer Proposed by Paula Devlin Seconded by Kathleen O'Hagan

Secretary's report I would like to echo the chairpersons thanks to our volunteers and wider community without whom we would not be able to continue and provide the programmes to our residents. In the year under review, I would like to acknowledge Conor, Seamus and Marguerite in CWSAN for their unfailing and continued support. Thank you to those members of the committee who give willingly of their time on a weekly basis to ensure that our toddler group continues to be a success, without your unfailing commitment this would not be possible. Thanks to the community for your unerring support and generosity, it does not go unnoticed and we are extremely grateful. Louise Heaney, Secretary
