The Trustees have had ongoing regard forThe Charity Cornmission's Public Benefit Requirement Statutory Guidance and are satisfied that- There is no harm flowing from the above pun)0 Beneficiaries of this purpose are: All ag8 groups resident in The Derry City and Strabane Council area . A private benefit may arise forcommittee members from time to time in that they may avail of Training programmes in matters such as Governance or First Aid .but this benefit is necessary to ensure tha afficient provision of benefit to our communltyand is entirely incidental. There are 25 (approx..) furthervolunteers who help on Show w8ekend-¢e.-to sat upltake entrieslassist judges etc. Actlvities and Objectives Events List 1 Christmas Trail-December 2 Carol Sinong an)und the Vlllage Christmas Tree-De¢ember 3 Santa's Tour of the Willage on Christmas Eve 4 Wino and CheeselGames Night-Mar¢h 5 Egiinton Annual Show-sept 2r 1-ChristmasTrail 10 small wooden trees (made by our men's shed)were placed in the windows of busin&sseslshops along the Willage rnain streetduring the month of December. Each tree was topped bya letter in a star makingup 8 Christmas themed word. The benefit of this actMtyW8S the provision of a challenging actiirity for famtlies overtha Christmas period ,promoting social interaction whilst out walking. Evidenced by positive social media 8nd°in-person"feedback 2-Carol Singing This popular Village event took ptace on Friday 2310 December,having been cancelled the 2 previous years due to CovFd.The Music was provided by local mombers of The Britannia Brass Band and the stage by a local farmer. The Beneflt of thi8 event was- The provision of an opportunltyfor retuming famllieslstudents (ovarthe Christmas period) as well as villager8 to reconnect. Evidenced by posilive social media and "in-pèrson" feedback as well as a coiiectlon of £275 on thé night which was donated to Foyie Food bank.

3 Santa's Christmas Eve tour of the vlltage. Santa toured the village on an open backed vehicle so that Children of all ages could se8 him close up on Christmas Eve. HIS route and tlmlngs were on ourwebslte well In advance. The benefit of this activity was - Enabling soclal inclusion and accessibility as well as encouraging community development. Evidenced by positive social Media and"In-person" feedback. 4 Wine and Cheesel Games Night Held in Egiinton Cricket Club.311t March-both as a team-building exerclse and a fund raiser. A quiz masterfromthe localweekiy ¢harityqulz kindly provlded uswith 5quiz rounds and we had additional games as w811 as a raffle. The benefit of thls event was- The promotion of social Inclusion and communitydevelopment. Evidenced by positive social media and"In-person" feedback. 5 Egiinton Annual Show Day Took place on Sat 2fvJ Sept 2023 in the Paddock in the centre of Egiinton Wiiiage The committee were also involved in setting up the day before and tidying up the day after in addltion to runningthe show on the Saturday. The b8n8flt of the event Is The advancement of Citizenship and Community Developmènt. Evidenced by the numbers of entries(1031) as well as visitors on show dayas well 8S posltive medla feedback.
