Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 1021" {effectlve 1 January 2019). Objectlves and adlvltles The charity's objects are to promote the following purposes for the public benefit= the relief of povety on the conlinenl of Africa and throughout the world., the relief of those in need by reason of youth. age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage on the continent of Africa., the education of the general public in Northem Ireland regarding povety and the needs of Ihe pecple of the continent of Africa- and such other exclusively Charitable purpose according lo the Law of Northern Ireland as Ihe Directors may from time to time decide. Public b8n8frt The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in de¢iding what activlties the charity should undertake.
