Glenburn Community Assoclatlon Fortheyearended 31 March 2025 Annual Report f Glanbur Glenburn Community Association is a cross communlty organlsation that aims to provide the residents of the GLenburn area of Magherafelt with activities, seniices and information to improve the quality of life of residents whilst also improving the Local environment. In setting our objectives and pLanning Our activities forthe year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on pubLic benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity's purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries. Duringthe yearwe: Held an estate inspection with statutory agencies in attendance to look at areas for improvement in GLenburn. We raised issues 8nd concerns that residents had highlighted to us. We held trips to Rathlin Island. The Titanic Centre Belfast and The Belfast Giants. We also held a Christmas Dinner and 8 family fun day. We continued with our clothing bankto heLp raise funds. We planted shrubs and flowers to brighten up the estate. Fin During the yearwe did not receive any restricted funding. We raised funds totalling £151.90 through the clothing bank. We also received funds through fundraisingwhich totalled £650. Our total income for the year amounted to £801.90. Our expenditure forthe yeaTtotalled £5,810.42. We ended the year with a bank balance of £4.959.48. Page 3

Respective responsibllltles of Trustees and Examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Nl} 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given bythe Charity Commission under section 65 {9)(b} of the Charities Act stste whether particular matters have come to my attention Basis of Independent Examiner'g Stat8m8nt I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and an examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission Nl under section 65 {9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept bythe charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
