Glenburn CommunltyAssoclatlon For the year ended 31 March 2024 Annual Report Glenburn Communlty Assoclation is a cross community organisation that aims to provide the residents of the Glenburn area of Magherafelt with activities, services and information to improve the quality of life of resldents whilst 81so improvingthe local environment. In setting our objectives and planning our activities forthe yearthe trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commisslon Nl's guidance on publlc beneflt to ensure thatthe activities have helped to achieve the ch8rSty'S purposes and provide a benefit to the benefiGiarie8. During the year we: Held an estate Inspectlon wlth statutory agencles in attendance to look at areas for Improvement In Glenburn. We ralsed Issues and concern8 that resldents had highlighted to us. We held trips to the Bluegr888 Festival in Omagh American Folk Park, Hill8borough C88tle and the Armagh Planet8rlum. We continued with our clothlng b8nkto help r8lse funds. We planted shrubs and flowers to brighten up the estate. During the year we received fundingfrom Mid Ulster District Council totalling £260, Nl Housing Executive totalling £1,477.90 and the National Lottery Main Grants tot8Lling £6,599. We also ralsed funds totalllng £352.10 through the clothing bank. We also recelved payments towards trips totalling £350. Ourtotal Income forthe year amounted to £9,039. Our expenditure for the year totalled £2,495.19. We ended the year with a bank balance of £ 9,968. Page 3
