Challenge badges were also completed such as the Pancake Challenge. Three Rangers have successTUiiy compietea tneir (ioia UOTt awara ana await invitations to attena a (iaraen party in Buckingham Palace to be presented with their Awards. One Rangers has also completed her Queens Guide Award and again awaits an invitstion to a presentation. Other Rangers completed their Silver DofE awards {expedition in the summertime) and were presented with their badges and certificates at the County Awards evening. Trips out included to an escape r(rn in Belfast and to the cinema and of course food played a big part in our calendar as we celebrated the Chinese Newyear with a variety of Chinese foods. The Ranger unit joined with the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from our family unit to celebrate the Kln¢s coronation with various activities, a treasure hunt, BBQ and cake in at rryl)tfnrA fryiiiA• Hniit September saw the unlt increase in numbers, with new members welcomed as they moved up from the Guide section. A change from DofE camping was a weekend stay in Gosford Guide House. Thoroughly enjoyed by all, the Friday to Sunday break saw various activities and games while the girls has responsibility for the cooklng of all meals and cleaning of the house. This weekend away enabled one of the leaders to gain her Holiday Licence, so hopefully more trips like this will be on the agenda in the future. The information below sets out the activities we have carried out to further our purpose and fulfil the public benefit element during the last 12 months. Our beneficiaries: The intended beneficlarles of our charity continue to be the girls and young women who are members of 1st Mniintnnrris Ran$7p.rs. Our services: We provide a number of services to our beneficiaries. Most of these are provided on a weekly basis (when possible), through meeting activities based up and following the relevant Glrlguiding sectional program. We also provide guidance to those girls furthering their personal development through the participation at all levels of the DofE program. A revlew of the Charltvs flnanclal posltlon at the end of the year Atthe end of the year the charity is in a very comfortable position with a healthy balance in the bank and in cash. This will enable the unit to pay its subscription charges to Glrlguidlng Headquarters in February 2024.
