All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

| The | nberry 1stLoy Guides had 16 girls take part in a varied programme of activities during this period. Crafts included making a harvest gnome, poppy jars, sweet truffles, photo cushions, affirmation candles, graffiti art, highland dancing, outdoor cooking, mocktail making. Good turns included decorating a window in the Church for Harvest, baking small Christmas cakes for residents in a local care home, constructing and planting a small herb garden for use in the community. Attended Church Youth Service, visited an Army training centre, weekend camp, rollerskating session. Our objective is to help each girl reach her full potential in a safe, girl only space. |
