All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

Movilla Abbey A Brownies is a group of girls aged between 7 & 10 years old who meet 33 weeks of the year on Monday evening’s between 6.30pm & 8pm. Between September 202 4 & August 202 5 there were 1 9 brownies in regular attendance.
During the year the brownies took part in activities such as games, badge work & crafts. As a unit we participated in a range of activities including mindfulness & relaxation techniques & first aid & team work . We joined with the guides for a trip to see the Christmas pantomime & we participated in an overnight event organised by Girlguiding Ulster in W5 in the SSE arena

A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
The unit started on 1[st] September 202 4 with cash & bank balance of £ enabling the unit to open. The group has no assets.
