The Company was established for the relief of poverty, advancement of education and protection and preservation of health of woman and children and to provide facilities in the Interests of social welfare in the Newtownards Road area for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities were primarily intended and in a non-political, open and inclusive manner
