As well as our regular services during the year we 8cknowledged God's gift of new life with one Sacrarnenl of Baptism and gave thanks for f21thlul services and sought lo comfort those who had been bereaved during the year. Al 31 December 2020 there were 191 communicant members and 241 families connected with the congregation. The average week attendance at mornlng worship is 100 prior to COVID reslriclitsns and 50 later in year due lo COVID proloco5s. Pastoral care Members of the congregation who ale ijnable lo attend church due to sickness or age are visited on a regular basis by the minister, elders or by one of the congregab"on's pastor81 visitors. MlssSon and outrgach Al a local level the congregation seeks lo support and equip all members lo share their Christsan faith. on a daily basis IhroLJgh their own lives and inleraclion with family, neighbours, work colleagues and during leisure activity. Soffle membets have been involved in short-letrn mission teams throughout the country and overseas. Retiring collections and offerings were also taken up for appeals throughout the year. On a wider basis, our congregation supports the United Appeal fund. Presbytery The congregation wa5 represented at the regular meetings of Presbytery by our minister and one of the elders. This provides an important link betsveen the congregations and the wider structures of the Church. Under the congregation s governlng document. The Code. the book of the conslilulion and govemmenl of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, the Kirk Session seeks lo watch over and promote the spiritual interest of the congregation and DI persons not connected with any congregation who are within ils bounds. It ensures pastoral care is in place in the congregation and seeks lo further the ¢ontribution ol the Church lo Christian witness and service irTr the local Gommijnily. Th& Kirk Sessions has delegated lo its Congregational Committee the temporal affairs ol the congregation including administering all funds and property belonging lo the congregation. Members of thé Kirk Session are ex-officio members of the Congregational Committee. The Kirk Sesslon consi515 of the ordained minister and the ruling elders of the congregations. All members are enlilled to propose, speak and exercise eoual votes al meetings, except that the Moderator, the ministers in active duty in the congregation, has no deliberative bul only a casting vote.
