Researched and delivered seven talks to our members.

Arranged and organized four outings of historical/cultural interest for our members.

Held committee meetings monthly.

The advancement of local history and culture through research and participation.

Improved social cohesion and community spirit through social interaction at meetings and talks; also through greater understanding of and care for our heritage.
IMPACT AND BENEFITS:-

Social cohesion in this community continues to be improved by the activities of the Local History Society in its midst.

The benefits accrue not only to the society members but also to the wider community, our talks being open to all.

The wider Poyntzpass society also benefits from the accessibility to our museum, archive and library for example during European Heritage Weekend, Culture Night and by arrangement at other times.
