## **TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2023.** 

## **OUTPUTS:-** 

Poyntzpass and District Local History in the year 2023 :- 

- Researched and delivered seven talks to our members. 

- Arranged and organized four outings of historical/cultural interest for our members. 

- Held committee meetings monthly. 

## **OUTCOMES:-** 

- A full programme of talks and outings for our members. 

- The advancement of local history and culture through research and participation. 

- Improved social cohesion and community spirit through social interaction at meetings and talks; also through greater understanding of and care for our heritage. 

## **IMPACT AND BENEFITS:-** 

- Social cohesion in this community continues to be improved by the activities of the Local History Society in its midst. 

- The benefits accrue not only to the society members but also to the wider community, our talks being open to all. 

- The wider Poyntzpass society also benefits from the accessibility to our museum, archive and library for example during European Heritage Weekend, Culture Night and by arrangement at other times. 

- The local schools also benefit from accessibility to our museum, archive and library.
