This Is a scheme operated by the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, a separately re8lstered charity. The conggatIOn pays an a55essment to the Presbyterian Churth in Ireland equivalent to the employer's pension contribution for the Scheme and based on the stipend paid to the minister. The Presbyterian Chtjrch in Ireland Pension Stheme12(X)91 15 a fijnded Scheme of the defined benefit type, providing deflned benefits based on career average revalued salary. The Scheme has assets held In a separately admlnlstered fund managed by a board of trustees. The Presbyterian Church and the Scheme Trustees have agreed a fundlng plan to ensure thatthe Scheme Is sufficiently funded to meet current an(J future obllgatlons.
